The University of Management and Technology is a venture of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Trust. In the year 1990, a group of leading educationists, professionals, scholars and industrialists joined hands together which formed the ILM Trust whose only focus was to bring out the best in organizations by providing the leading professionals in every field of life. It has almost 3 decades and we can see many young professionals come out of the Institute of Leadership and Management who are recognized by their excellence in their trade.

Since the very first day of its inauguration, the core focus of University of Management and Technology is on bringing the best potential out of the youth so they can become a productive part of society.

The Founder Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad
Foundation of The University of Management and Technology was led by a very pious man (Late) Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad, he was a very intelligent man and was driven by the power of knowledge.
Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad was a guiding light for the students and students were always overwhelmed by his thought-provoking speeches. Students looked up to him for guidance as he was always there for them to assist them in the best way possible.
Dr. Hasan was among the top distinguished educationists of this time and had served many business plus management-related initiatives. His sad demise was a very shocking news to his alumni, students, and educators under his wing, we all still pray that may his soul rest in peace and Allah Almighty grants him with the highest place in Jannah.
He will be remembered till the end of time by his deeds in the educational sectors and also by his several publications. Students still remember Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad walking in the halls of UMT with his kind smile on his face and will remember this way forever in the hearts of students. His absence is a great loss in the academic communities of today.
UMT offers a number of programs which cover all the domains of life. More than 125+ degree programs are offered in bachelors, masters and doctoral courses which are credible because of the quality of education provided here. Every department is registered and is designed up to the required facilities of Higher Education Commission (HEC), every department is totally dedicated to fulfilling the needs of a quality educational atmosphere.
