The Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognizes the University of Lahore at its highest “W4” category of universities reserved for those institutions that fulfill all criterion of an International Quality University.

The university will be signing an MOU with SocioOn this Monday evening. The main reason behind the University of Lahore to collaborate with SocioON Pakistan first-ever National Social Media and Business Network is to awaken the nation by making them realize the importance of Technology for Human Development (THD).

The university believes Human development, in combination with technology, yields economic growth which, in turn, is necessary to generate further advances in human development.

SocioOn an initiative by GET GROUP, is solely based on the concept of technology for Human Development, so that one can socialize as well as enhance business in digital space. The network already has more than 3 million verified users who are constantly posting and sharing their posts, along with constantly earning income and becoming entrepreneurs in their homes.

University of Lahore and SocioOn will celebrate with each other this era of revolution based on Technology for Human Development.

A grand event will be held on 26th November 2018 at the University of Lahore campus on their grand 2nd Lahore Youth Summit (IYSL 2018) program at 7pm where entire university along with high-end corporate businessmen based in Lahore and bloggers will be invited.

An MOU will be signed and a separate social online community will be given to the University of Lahore called uolsocial.socioon.com. It will be a separate online space for university students’, teachers, and parents to interact and socialize.

Through the signing of MOU both parties will mutually come to an understanding to participate in “THD PROTOCOL”, an understanding to promote the Technology for Human Development, not only to support Pakistan’s own Social Media but also to contribute to a healthier and safer/progressive society under the initiative of SocioON.
