Pakistani Passport Among The Weakest In The World For 2025

Pakistan has once again been placed in the list of countries with the weakest passports according to the Henley Passport Index for the first half of 2025.


The index based on visa-free access places Pakistan in the 103rd position, being tied with Yemen. Pakistani passport holders can only travel visa-free to 33 countries.

Countries that have a weaker passport than Pakistan are Iraq at 104, Syria at 105, and Afghanistan at 106Somalia, Nepal, Palestine, and Bangladesh are just above Pakistan at 102.

India ranks 85th, China 60th, Iran 96th, and Saudi Arabia 58th in the region.


The countries at the top of the index are Singapore at 195Japan at 193. South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Finland share third position with 192 destinations.
