New SOPs & Guidelines are Issued for Hajj 2025

Preparations for the Hajj operation in 2025 have been intensively arranged by the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA), which has issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the staff members involved in the pilgrimage.

The guidelines stipulate the eligibility conditions, mode of application, and important dates for the orderly and efficient processing of the applications.

According to the new orders, employees from SG Group 1 to 11 may be eligible to apply for Hajj duty as long as they fulfill conditions such as not less than five years of service and medical fitness to perform arduous duties for the operation.

Selection will be held at the PAA headquarters on February 4, 2025. Interested employees should apply through their respective department directors, airport managers, or branch offices.

The PAA has also made it clear that any employees deployed in Hajj duty will not be permitted to go for the pilgrimage themselves. Moreover, those who are being investigated or are in the process of disciplinary action will not be fit for Hajj duty.
