Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri

If we talk about the most honest, steadfast, zealous and committed official in Baluchistan, the name Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri immediately comes to mind. Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri is unarguably one of the most eminent bureaucrats from Baluchistan and has almost served at all vital positions which a federal bureaucrat can imagine.

He was born in 1954, in Narmuk, the area of Kalat district. He completed his matriculation from Government High school Mach, he then shifted to Quetta and worked on different small level jobs while privately passed Intermediate.

For higher education, he went to Europe and did BS in engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, after that he completed his MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

He passed CSS examinations in 1978 and served on many key positions such as Chief Secretary Baluchistan, Secretary Establishment, and Federal Secretary Education.

Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri is a founding Director at Taleem Foundation. Taaleem Foundation strives to educate a social change through quality education in the underprivileged areas of Pakistan, especially Balochistan. It is a non-profit and non-governmental community support organization, registered in Balochistan since 1993. During the years, Taaleem Foundation has established eight schools in tribal and remotest areas of Balochistan. Taaleem Foundation has also established a training center to cater to vocational training and higher education in Sui to promote economic empowerment among females. Quality schooling, modern curriculum, co-education, an all-female faculty are few of the success factors of this schooling system all under the dynamic leadership of Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri.
