Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy has been fired!
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has been relieved of his duties after the harsh 20 – 17 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. This announcement was made shortly after the game, Green Bay has had a terrific tenure with McCarthy with him the team has had a lot of successful games which have put them on leaderboard but now the management has made its mind to free Mike McCarthy from his duties as now they have had a very brutal loss against the Cardinals. It was quite obvious that Green Bay Packers will wipe out Arizona Cardinals from the game also will give them a pretty tough time but it went quite opposite and Cardinals suffered a heavy loss against them. So, the game was surprisingly good for Arizona Packers but very harsh for Green Bay Packers and Mike McCarthy.
Here’s what team president Mark Murphy had to say about this:
“The 2018 season has not lived up to the expectations and standards of the Green Bay Packers. As a result, I made the difficult decision to relieve Mike McCarthy of his role as head coach, effective immediately. Mike has been a terrific head coach and leader of the Packers for 13 seasons, during which time we experienced a great deal of success on and off the field. We want to thank Mike, his wife, Jessica, and the rest of the McCarthy family for all that they have done for the Packers and the Green Bay and Wisconsin communities. We will immediately begin the process of selecting the next head coach of the Green Bay Packers.”
