16 terrorists were killed in the Jaffar Express attack, while security forces freed 104 captives

According to security authorities on Tuesday, terrorists attacked the Jaffar Express, a passenger train passing through Balochistan’s Bolan Pass, taking multiple passengers hostage within a tunnel.

According to security sources, 104 passengers—58 men, 31 women, and 15 children—were successfully freed from terrorists by security troops. So far, 17 injured people have been taken to hospitals for medical care, and 16 terrorists have been killed.

According to security officials, the terrorists use satellite phones to communicate with their handlers abroad. In order to neutralize the threat and guarantee the safety of the hostages, security personnel have surrounded the terrorists by breaking them up into smaller groups, and clearance operations are presently underway, according to reports.

According to security sources, injured travelers have been taken right away to a local hospital for medical attention. In order to support the operation and guarantee that the situation is brought under control, more security personnel have been sent to the area, they added.

The operation will continue until the last terrorist is killed, according to sources who confirmed that the noose has been tightened around the terrorists. The goal of security forces is to successfully resolve the crisis and guarantee the safety of all hostages.

Security sources claim that after stopping the Jaffar Express within Tunnel No. 8, the assailants took over the train and held its occupants hostage.

Security personnel have quickly surrounded the place and launched a clearance operation to neutralize the terrorists and liberate the captives, despite the difficult terrain and the remote location.

Numerous women and children are among the captives, and security authorities have confirmed that the terrorists are in communication with their mastermind in Afghanistan. According to security sources, the operation will go on until all terrorists have been killed and the hostages have been successfully evacuated.

The terrorists’ activities are completely unrelated to any reason pertaining to Islam, Pakistan, or Balochistan, according to security authorities, who further denounced the targeting of defenseless civilians. They noted that the clearance operation is still in progress and that further information will be released as events unfold.

The terrorists who carried out the horrific attack on the Jaffer Express are in communication with their mastermind in Afghanistan, according to security officials. The operation has been made more difficult by the terrorists’ alleged use of women and children as human shields.

According to the reports, the operation is being conducted with great caution because of the difficult terrain and the use of human shields. The military has promised to keep up the operation until the final terrorist is killed.

Indian and anti-state social media have been exceptionally active since the attack, according to sources. Indian media, social media sites, and anti-state accounts have been actively disseminating bogus, misleading, and inaccurate propaganda ever since the incident.

There have been reports of attempts to incite fear by disseminating fake news; sources have disclosed the usage of old movies, AI-generated content, out-of-date photos, phony WhatsApp messages, and posters. Security sources verified that this is a part of an unsuccessful attempt to stir the public through a fraudulent social media operation.

Furthermore, it has been stated that terrorist-affiliated social media accounts are aiding Indian media in disseminating anti-Pakistan discourse. Sources assert that by presenting the analysis of self-exiled Baloch leaders who reside outside of Pakistan, Indian media is deceiving the audience.

In contrast to the fake propaganda that is now making the rounds on social media, the public is encouraged to rely on credible sources for genuine information, the sources stated.

Jaffar Express Attack

Following reports of heavy gunfire on the Jaffer Express, the government of Balochistan has sent rescue crews. Security personnel and ambulances have been sent to the scene of the event after the government declared an emergency at Sibi Hospital.

But according to Balochistan spokesperson Shahid Rind, officials are having trouble getting to the location because of the tough terrain. “To provide rescue, the railway department has dispatched additional trains to the location,” he continued.

“The extent of the incident and the potential presence of terrorist elements are being assessed,” Rind added. All institutions are still operational, and the government of Balochistan has directed that emergency measures be implemented

“The beasts that fire on innocent passengers do not deserve any concessions,” said Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in his condemnation of the crime. He also conveyed his wish for the quick recovery of the attack victims.
