ICC postpones Champions Trophy summit till tomorrow

The Champions Trophy summit has been postponed by ICC until tomorrow.

The ICC meeting to take final decision on upcoming 2025 Champion 2025 Champions Trophy ICC Meeting Dates have been announced for tomorrow The scheduled meeting today to clear current impasse of BCCI vs PCB (Board of Control for Cricket in India and Pakistan Cricket Board) postponed.

ICC officials were said to have scheduled a meeting with all the cricket boards from across the globe in an effort to find some middle ground. Although the BCCI has raised security issues regarding the inclusion of Indian team in Pakistan, the PCB is in a campaign to assert Pakistan’s Right to stage this tournament.

Chairman of PCB Mohsin Naqvi has been a regular at the ICC headquarters in Dubai talking. Naqvi reportedly offered Geoff Allardice (the ICC CEO) one on one to make the case for Pakistan really well. These initiatives indicate that Pak is Game for 2022 (The competition) and does not bend too easily to this hybrid concept which envisages moving some games to third countries.

2025 Champions TrophyFebruary-March season schedule for the next ICC is one of a highly controversial item. The ICC is due to rule on what will be a major decision for international relations in the world of cricket, and the tournament itself.

As of now, the cricket world is eagerly waiting for an announcement from the ICC which may either solve this impasse or more troubles for the management of tournament.
