Crescent Bahuman was primarily established as a joint venture between the Greenwood Mills and Crescent Group which was solely owned by Crescent in 2001. They have a wide range of fabrics in all segments of denim.

Background

Crescent Bahuman is Pakistan’s first denim manufactures with the vertically integrated facility. It was initiated in 1995. Crescent group’s major focus is on the eco-friendly environment and sustainable practices. They believe in giving back to the society and environment at large. CBS (Crescent Bahuman Ltd.) provides clothing to more than 10 Million customers yearly which makes them one of the biggest denim exporters in the world. Crescent Group is committed to serving the Nation as well as commit to the planet and environment.

Advanced Practices

Crescent Group is the first textile company in Pakistan to adopt six-sigma business philosophy. In 2015 introduced Environmental Impact measuring in order to create sustainable clothes in order to protect the environment.

Employee friendly

Crescent Bahuman provides various facilities for its employees such as water treatment facility, medical facility, fire-fighting department, gym, golf course and grounds for other sports-related activities such as badminton, table tennis, basketball, cricket, volleyball, yoga etc. The campus also consists of houses for the employees and school for children. A medical facility is also provided to the neighboring communities in case of emergencies.

Sustainable goals

Crescent Group have gotten on board on a green journey with their ultimate goal as sustainability and they proudly claim that they manufacture 10 Million sustainable jeans per year. Their goal includes,

  • Maintain and increase the water bed
  • Measure and reduce the carbon footprint of Pakistan
  • Plant as much more trees as possible.
