MINSK: Belarus offers to host 150,000 Pakistani workers as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announces the significant workforce collaboration on Friday. This agreement will enable skilled Pakistani laborers to contribute to Belarus’s development projects while strengthening bilateral relations between Belarus and Pakistan.
The prime minister referred to it as a “gift” for the people of Pakistan and sent his sincere appreciation for the chance, emphasizing that the project will not only boost the Belarusian economy but also give Pakistani young a real means of subsistence.
The prime minister added, “I assure you that the skilled Pakistani workforce, duly certified both by international standards and through national accreditation, will serve as a valuable asset to Belarus,” during a joint press conference with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Remembering Aleksandr Lukashenko’s 2015–16 visit to Pakistan, the prime minister stated that it set the groundwork for a lengthy friendship and collaboration in areas of shared interest.

“As an agrarian nation, Pakistan has 65% of its population living in rural areas. MoUs
