Ayesha Nasir becomes a Top100 Super Soul of Pakistan – Founder of ScaryAmmi

Ayesha Nasir was born in Lahore and she is now a SocioOn Super Soul.

Early Life
Being from a family of doctors, Ayesha Nasir parents also wanted her to become a doctor as she was very brilliant in her studies as she was getting A grades throughout her studies. It is fair to say that it has been a dream of almost every parent that their son/daughter becomes a doctor just so that they get a safe path or suitable lifestyle.

Professional Life
But Ayesha Nasir had bigger goals for herself she wanted to pursue a career where the impact is bigger. She wanted to achieve something that proves to be problem solving and also touching the lives of numerous people.
That’s how ScaryAmmi into existence, she felt this need of an hour when she became a mother.
This doesn’t mean that despite being a hardworking and intelligent student she didn’t pursue medicine, she did her MBBS. As she strongly believes that if you are going to leave something you should leave it on a high note. She has nothing against medicine as a profession, it is very noble but she wanted to do more.
So as she wanted to impact the lives of more people then she headed towards writing, which later became a blog. And sooner she realized that if she wants to make her platform sustainable then she had to turn it into a business to make it profitable and sustainable. As in our country, there are no such grants offered by the government or private organizations so she had to do it herself.
ScaryAmmi started as a Facebook group and Ayesha Nasir’s vision was to gather mothers from different walks of life so that they can share their experiences and ask about the mutual problems that they are facing.

Postpartum Depression
Ayesha Nasir is very vocal and she wanted to express herself after the problems or issues she was facing after becoming a mother. Postpartum depression is a real thing which new mother usually face and Ayesha was also going through the same, but she expressed herself and put it on ScaryAmmi.
Soon enough other mommies also joined in and the community grew stronger, now ScaryAmmi is a genuine and positive platform to help mothers and connect them among each other.
