12 countries deport over 100 Pakistanis in 48 hours

Over the last 48 hours, 131 Pakistani nationals have been expelled from 12 countries for a number of reasons, including illegal entrance, drug offenses, and job abandonment.

Immigration authorities stated that Saudi Arabia was expelling 74 Pakistanis on account of drug trafficking and employment abandonment without notice. Several people in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were also expelled for illegal immigration, theft, and drug crimes.

While one Pakistani tourist was turned away from UAE and shipped back right away, another was sent back for said suicide attempt. Among other expulsions noted from Mexico, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cambodia and Oman.

Two people charged of human trafficking meanwhile were returned from Mauritania and Senegal. Six were turned over to authorities in Larkana, Kalat, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, and Rawalpindi for more examination from those deported, while sixteen were turned over to the Antihuman Trafficking Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Relatedly, immigration officials at Jinnah International Airport offloaded 86 passengers in Karachi. Thirty of them had their trip to Saudi Arabia for Umrah postponed since they didn’t have enough money or hotel reservations.

Flying on study visas to Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan, seven students were likewise offloaded. Some passengers were refused trip with tourist visit visas for Bahrain, Malaysia, Indonesia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and a number of other countries. Furthermore, people who had been blacklisted from working in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey were stopped from boarding their plane.
