SocioON joins the noble fight of NCA against Drug Abuse

NCA (National College of Arts) Lahore on October 13th, 2018 launched an anti-drug campaign to highlight the harm caused by the production and distribution of drugs.

With the motive of creating awareness among youth, City District Police Lahore organized walk against Drugs in collaboration with Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) and National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore from NCA to Anarkali corner on the Mall road Lahore.

Superintendent of Police Civil Lines Muhammad Afzal, NCA Principal Murtaza Jafri, Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign Consultant Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Deputy Superintendent Police Anarkali Syed Zafar Abbas Naqvi, NCA registrar, DATH and Youth Council for Anti-Narcotics members and a number of students of NCA participated in the walk.

Mr. Murtaza Jafri, Principal NCA told SocioON team that the most disturbing aspect of drug addiction is that it is reaching epidemic proportions in Pakistan nowadays and that his institution NCA has committed to fighting against drug peddlers who have destroyed our youth’s future through drugs.
